Washington, D.C. is about to get a firsthand look at the future of food delivery—and it may arrive on four wheels carrying your lunch.

Buc-ee's is officially one step closer to opening its highly anticipated Stafford County location.

According to Business Journals, the Texas-based travel center chain has finalized the purchase of more than 35 acres along Interstate 95 near Exit 140 in Stafford County for $14.8 million, marking a major milestone for what will become the closest Buc-ee's to the Washington, D.C., and Northern Virginia region.
