The Big Picture

Multiple sources told ESPN that President Donald Trump wants the new $3.7 billion Washington Commanders stadium named after him — and the White House isn’t denying it.

Trump reportedly made his wishes clear to members of the Commanders’ ownership group, led by Josh Harris, asking that the new domed stadium planned for the old RFK Stadium site in D.C. bear his name.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told ESPN:

“That would be a beautiful name, as it was President Trump who made the rebuilding of the new stadium possible.”

The move adds political drama to what’s already the largest economic development project in D.C. history, with a massive ripple effect across the…

SPA has had a long history in Northern Virginia with its roots grounded in Fairfax County. Over the last 50 years the company has grown into the tech giant it is known to be today. It’s considered a top work place with many current and former employees speaking on the positive workplace environment.

Back in early September SPA announced plans to grow their presence in Alexandria and further develop their HQ in Fairfax County. Chantilly and Lorton facilities are also undergoing further development and in October SPA acquired Group W, a top-tier data science organization for the Department of Defense, which has expanded SPA’s modeling and simulation capabilities and created a need to size-up most of their NoVa based operations. So what…

As reported by Michael Neibauer of the Washington Business Journal, another massive data center land deal just dropped in Northern Virginia — this time in Leesburg.

According to public records, JK Land Holdings, led by Chuck Kuhn (the CEO of JK Moving Services in Sterling), sold 97 acres of fully entitled data center land for $615 million to an affiliate of SDC Capital Partners. That’s a staggering $6.3 million per acre, believed to be the highest raw land sale ever recorded in the region.

What makes this deal so huge

This sale comes just one day after Amazon’s $700 million purchase of Devlin Tech Park in Bristow — meaning Northern Virginia just saw over $1.3 billion in data center land deals in less than 48 hours.

JK Land Holdings…

Leesburg Takes the Spotlight

WalletHub just named Leesburg, Virginia the #11 best small city in America out of more than 1,300 cities with populations between 25,000 and 100,000. That’s a huge win for Loudoun County.

Leesburg scored an impressive 91 for livability — the highest in the entire study. That means great schools, walkable streets, a thriving dining scene, and strong community amenities.

Median home prices hover around $800,000, and the average days on market is only about 18 days. You’ll find everything from charming brick colonials in Old Town to newer luxury townhomes and estate communities on the outskirts.

And while Leesburg isn’t cheap, it’s still…

Back in May, Luke Nichols — the man millions know as Outdoor Boys — announced he was walking away from YouTube.

And honestly, no one saw it coming.

For nearly a decade, Nichols built one of YouTube’s most wholesome and addicting outdoor channels — camping in Alaska, building survival shelters with his kids, catching fish in frozen rivers. His videos weren’t just tutorials; they were stories. Raw, quiet, family-centered moments that felt like a breath of fresh air in the chaos of the internet.

But before the wilderness fame, Luke Nichols was actually a criminal defense lawyer in Fairfax, Virginia. Yep — he went from courthouse suits to bushcraft boots. Nichols practiced law right here in Northern Virginia, balancing his career with a deep love for…

Here's the problem with this week: you physically cannot do everything that matters.

Noochie — the rapper who built an empire on front porch freestyles — is bringing Snoop Dogg to the Kennedy Center. Arena Stage is closing one of the year's sharpest revivals. Over 80 breweries are taking over Nationals Park. And scattered across the DMV are landmarks so strange and cinematic, most locals still haven't stumbled onto them.

This is one of those weeks where the calendar stacks up, and you've got decisions to make.

The Moment Everyone's Talking About

Noochie's Live From the Front Porch — Kennedy Center Premiere

Sunday, Nov 9 | $39+ | Kennedy Center, DC

A DC rapper who built his reputation on raw front porch performances is now…

The Big Picture

Amazon just made one of the biggest land moves in U.S. history — and it happened right here in Bristow, Virginia.
According to the Washington Business Journal, Amazon Data Services has purchased Devlin Tech Park for a jaw-dropping $700 million, solidifying Northern Virginia as ground zero for the global data-center boom.

By the Numbers

  • $700 million sale price

  • 270 acres total — Amazon bought roughly 70% of it

  • 1,272% return for Stanley Martin Homes, who assembled the land for just $51 million

  • 3.5 million sq. ft. of planned data centers, plus 3 substations

That equals roughly $3.7 million per acre — nearly matching…

Driving the news:
According to The Washingtonian, two local endurance runners—Phil Hargis and Mike Wardian—are staging the Taco Bell 50K on Saturday, November 29. It’s an ultramarathon that covers roughly 31 miles across Alexandria, Arlington, and DC with nine mandatory Taco Bell stops. Participants must eat at least one menu item at each stop and keep the receipts to prove it.

Why it matters:
This isn’t your typical ultra. It’s a low-stakes, high-community challenge that welcomes walkers and joggers, blends urban sightseeing with a food gauntlet, and is tailor-made for shareable stories.

How it works:

  • Start/finish at the Taco Bell Cantina, 417 King St, Alexandria, VA.

  • Visit nine Taco Bell locations in order; route between stops is…

If you've been sitting on the sidelines waiting for the market to shift in your favor, I've got news for you.

The latest survey from Bright MLS reveals something we haven't seen in years: buyers are actually getting their offers accepted on the first try. They're taking their time to shop. They're negotiating again. And sellers? They're making concessions that would've been unthinkable in 2021.

But here's what nobody's talking about: this shift isn't creating a flood of new buyers. In fact, many potential buyers are more hesitant now than they were a year ago.

So what's really happening in Northern Virginia? Let me break down the numbers and show you what they mean for anyone thinking about buying or selling right now.

First Offers Are…
