Baltimore food lovers are about to get an early taste of something new from Chick-fil-A — and it’s a big one. Starting December 1 through January 24, the fast-food favorite will test its Chicken & Waffles Sandwich exclusively in Baltimore, Maryland and San Antonio, Texas.

The sandwich combines crispy fried chicken, maple waffles, and smoked bacon for the ultimate sweet-and-savory bite. Chick-fil-A says there will be two versions — a smaller breakfast sandwich and a larger lunch and dinner option — both available while supplies last.

Customers will also have the option to order a single maple waffle with syrup on the side. Because this is a limited-time test, diners are being asked to call ahead to participating locations to confirm availability.

Northern Virginia residents may want to keep their shovels close this year. NBC4’s Chief Meteorologist Doug Kammerer just released his 2025–26 snow forecast — and for the first time in years, it looks like we might actually see a true winter across the region.

The Forecast: How Much Snow Could Fall

Kammerer expects the DC metro area to get between 13 and 20 inches of snow this season — a solid jump from recent years when totals barely reached double digits.

Here’s how the numbers break down across Northern Virginia:

  • Fredericksburg: 13–20 inches

  • Warrenton and Leesburg: 18–30 inches

  • Luray and Winchester: 26–40 inches

  • Mountain areas to the west: 90–130 inches

If this plays out, homeowners in…

If you only do one thing, plan your visit around the "Christmas in Middleburg" festival, held on Saturday, December 6, 2025. This isn't just a small-town event; it's a nationally recognized celebration.

It kicks off on Saturday with the event that makes Middleburg truly unique:

  • The Middleburg Hunt & Hounds Review: This is the showstopper. Around 11 a.m., Washington Street (the main drag) falls silent. Then, you hear it—the cry of the huntsman's horn. Dozens of riders in formal "pinks" (the iconic red coats) on gleaming horses, accompanied by a full pack of hounds, parade down the street. It’s a jaw-dropping nod to the town's equestrian soul, and it feels like you've been transported back in time.

The Big Picture

Multiple sources told ESPN that President Donald Trump wants the new $3.7 billion Washington Commanders stadium named after him — and the White House isn’t denying it.

Trump reportedly made his wishes clear to members of the Commanders’ ownership group, led by Josh Harris, asking that the new domed stadium planned for the old RFK Stadium site in D.C. bear his name.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told ESPN:

“That would be a beautiful name, as it was President Trump who made the rebuilding of the new stadium possible.”

The move adds political drama to what’s already the largest economic development project in D.C. history, with a massive ripple effect across the…

As reported by Michael Neibauer of the Washington Business Journal, another massive data center land deal just dropped in Northern Virginia, this time in Leesburg, and it set a new per-acre record for the region.

According to public records, JK Land Holdings, led by Chuck Kuhn (the CEO of JK Moving Services in Sterling), sold 97 acres of fully entitled data center land for $615 million to an affiliate of SDC Capital Partners. That works out to roughly $6.3 million per acre, believed to be the highest raw land sale ever recorded in the region.

What Makes This Deal So Huge

This sale closed in November 2025, just one day after Amazon's $700 million purchase of Devlin Tech Park in Bristow, meaning Northern Virginia saw over $1.3 billion in data…

Leesburg Takes the Spotlight

WalletHub just named Leesburg, Virginia the #11 best small city in America out of more than 1,300 cities with populations between 25,000 and 100,000. That’s a huge win for Loudoun County.

Leesburg scored an impressive 91 for livability — the highest in the entire study. That means great schools, walkable streets, a thriving dining scene, and strong community amenities.

Median home prices hover around $800,000, and the average days on market is only about 18 days. You’ll find everything from charming brick colonials in Old Town to newer luxury townhomes and estate communities on the outskirts.

And while Leesburg isn’t cheap, it’s still…
