Haymarket Living: Inside Dominion Valley

Dominion Valley is one of the biggest neighborhoods in all of Northern Virginia and it's basically a country club you live in. Gated Toll Brothers community in western Prince William County with two Arnold Palmer golf courses, multiple pools, a sports pavilion, walking trails for miles, and its own shopping center with Tony's Pizza and a full grocery store. Single-families range from $800K up to $2M in the Ryder Cup estates, townhomes from the low $600Ks to $900K with basements and two-car garages, and the Regency 55+ side has condos from $350K-$500K with its own clubhouse and golf course. Battlefield High School, two elementary schools, and Ronald Reagan Middle School are all on or right next to the property. I've sold probably a hundred homes in here in my career and my brother lives here because he says he's never moving.

Local Tips

Go left out of Dominion Valley toward Leesburg, Aldie, Chantilly, and Ashburn. Go right and you're back in Haymarket in 10 minutes with I-66 access to DC, Manassas, Fairfax, and the Vienna Metro.
Dulles Airport is about 10-15 miles away. The Ashburn Metro on the Silver Line is also accessible.
Manassas VRE station is about 20 minutes away with monthly passes around $300-$400 for DC rail commute, but it's a long ride.
Most people living in Dominion Valley are not commuting all the way to DC. Tech industry, data centers, government contractors, FBI, and CIA provide local employment.
The security gates can be a little intense for things like home inspections and service visits, but most residents love the peace of mind.
Mature trees planted 20+ years ago now provide significant shade and a park-like feel. The neighborhood feels like a resort.
Comparable neighborhoods: Piedmont (also in Haymarket, nice but smaller with fewer amenities), South Riding (Ashburn/Loudoun area), Heritage Hunt (active adult comparison).
A lot of post-COVID buyers moved back to Dominion Valley to be closer to grandkids and family after trying other areas.
