This was our first time buying our home as a family of 5. I never felt down talked, or ignorant because they were understanding and patient knowing we were first time buyers. The team also communicated well with both my husband and I, which I’m extremely grateful for because I felt included and important in this process.

Before selecting the Chris Colgan Team, I checked out the competition. Going with the Colgan Team was an easy decision. They literally work at the speed of light because they leverage technology to the customer’s advantage. Finally, there is a group that operates smartly in the 2020s and makes it easy for all.
I connected via the Colgan Team’s easy to navigate website and was contacted promptly by Marissa (Chris’s assistant) via text. She immediately sent a link that provided listings in my area of interest and it allowed me to further tailor my search. In about 20 minutes or less, Paula (showing agent) texted me and we quickly developed a plan. All of this was done in less than 45 minutes — smartly and simply. Did I mention that I planned to arrive in about 2 days? Paula and Chris sent some additional listings to consider. I had the list narrowed to 7. It included resells and builder move-in ready homes.
Paula and I met precisely at 9:00 and began the showings. All of the listings were within walking distance of each other and she had an efficient plan so to not waste time. The walking provided time away from others so that we could discuss each property she showed. Paula’s insights were particularly valuable concerning certain quality details, HOA fee breakdowns and comparisons, and other items not immediately apparent to me. Paula knew that I had 1 day to view properties and she made the most of it. She ensured that I had time to frequently communicate with my wife throughout the day. While the builders’ reps were great, Paula represented me and had my back. She, and later Chris, pressed the builder for additional incentives.
My wife and I made our selection late that day. Within hours we had a contract.
Forget the national companies, go with the Chris Colgan Team. Chris KNOWS the region, especially Loudon County, VA. His YouTube videos are a wealth of information and are told by one from the region — a boots on the ground perspective. Paula and Marissa were, of course highly professional, AND they were highly personable, which made this process easy and fun.
